On the 27th of April almost all of the Danish physics shows were represented at “Physics at the Railway Station” in Copenhagen. The participants were: Aarhus PhysicsShow, Aalborg PhysicsShow, DTU ScienceShow and Circus Naturally.

We also had a visitor from Nanoteket (@DTU). The day was spent on showing off physics to the public (of course) and also on a bit of networking.
TV2 News made lots af live broadcasted news directly from the Railway Station, and the minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Mr. Helge Sander, showed up at the venue as well. All in all we had a great day at the Railway Station in Copenhagen!

EPF will be present at ICPS, the International Conference of Physics Students. At this conference, EPF will give a presentation of the activties of the EPF network, as well as demonstrate lots of experiments to the students at the conference to make them enthausiastic about setting up their own physics show.
EPF was present at the ICPS 2005 in Portugal, and the stand there was a great success.

We just got word that EPF will be present at the GIREP conference, which will be held in Opatija, Croatia in august 2007. EPF will be represented by the Chain Reaction Experiment Group from the university of Lubljana, Slovenia.
Members of the Group will present a poster about the activities of some of the EPF member shows, as well as a stand with information material about EPF.
Many thanks to Mrs. Drevensek-Olenik of the Chain Reaction Experiment group, who has organized all this.

EPF was present last Friday at the Fysica 2007 (Physics 2007) annual conference of the Dutch Physical Society. At this conference, EPF was represented by the Rino group from Leiden and by Science on Tour from Enschede. Pictures will be online soon.
The stand was a great success, and we hope to be present at Fysica 2008!

Erik Min, from the Fusion Road Show, pointed out to me that there is a journal called Science in School. This journal, which aims at establishing communication between teachers, scientists and science communicators, might be a good place to publish about show physics activities.

There is now a mailing list, by which the people who participate in EPF can exchange notices and engage in discussion. The mailing list is hosted by Google Groups.
